Helo people!!! My first entry on our class blog!!! Aiyah, quite a bo liao entry... :> About the event thingy eh, the counterpart of the games team is pretty nonchalant... Sianz... But i was quite surprised that she wants to rackey the place. Just to let u peeps know, most prob the get-together will be held in sentosa! Still thinking of the wet weather programme. Concept of game... (drum-rolling...) is

pls have REALLY FUN games ya. Tts most impt... i dun like to pick twigs and leaves, nor do i like to play dog and bone. La la la la...
But anyhow, i'm not so enthu abt running ard and playin games. Class rep.. got any slack job?? Like chase houseflies away from the food? Hahaha... Ok.. I'm a SLACKER. I admit.. :)
Anyway, pls do give suggestions abt the theme ya. Erm coz there's a total of 4 design ppl (grp 1 n 2). So ya.. more ideas k!

yeah~ kinda over-budget. but they were saying the $2 admission fee ownself pay.
haa~ silver, nnnnnnnope! mickey doesnt have lesson that day. coz all year 1 - 3s dont have lesson. check time table already. haa!
but still, think he'd be too lazy to go down. he'd rather crack nuts at home. *i think* haa!

well.. i jus got confirmation from serene tat our budget is only a pathetic amount of $216.. yup.. we make do with wat we have lahz..
from this amt of money we haf rite.. we will be spending 70 to 80 bucks for the log team.. den abt 30 to 40 bucks for the design team.. den the rest on food.. tentatively is lidat lahz..
watever amount we exceed rite.. we haf to take from classfund.. yup.. sickening..
yah. looks like i need to break free from being anti-social.
but i dont know how to mix with ppl.
is there any crash course conducted? tys?

haha.. anyway ah.. i think the amt of money shld be alright. coz i dun think we need to spend so much on games n stuff.
Dun forget we are OTs.. so muz be CREATIVE. Maybe come up with games that don't need so much $$. Plus, the design ppl can make use of other materials left over from the exhibition rite? (Nizar still got those flourescent boards? or construction paper)
And if people are reluctant to pay the enterance fee (which i foresee that possibility), we can always have it in school. Run around the WHOLE campus... not bad also lar. Considering we never step into the other schools.
As for the reshuffling, zx has a pt, but i think we shldnt be compared to Y1s. I mean, we have to be a bit more logical... 56 vs 36.. tts quite a big diff u know. Tts how I feel lar.. Haha.. (i'm anti-social!)

well, about the reshuffling, i guess what she really intends is to make us all get to know each other... our class identity is SUPER STRONG LEH!
so that is why must take steps to share our supreme class identity with each other...hahaha...
sil, the materials should still be around, unless they have been thrown away... and can you all also suggest what would be a nice thing to have as a take-away souvenir... a bandana perhaps?

to brief all on wat me.. joanna and rui discussed the other day..
the design team will be in-charged of coming up with the THEME.. making INVITATION CARDs for the lecturers.. coming up with the idea of how to DECO the STARTING Pt..
then the log ppl will be doing the SOUVENIRS.. preparing the MATERIALS required by the games masters.. SETUP the starting pt (according to how the design team's idea)..
then regarding the arm band thingy tat we were talking abt rite.. we decided to change it to jus a simple coloured ribbon.. each gp with a diff colour from the rest.. yup.. cheap n simple lehz.. hee..
ok.. hopefully those materials are ard. then we can juz reuse them!
Anyway, was thinkin of a name tag made of thick paper (eg vanguard), each grp with a different logo (logo design will depend on theme). If we can spare, then use safety pin to pin it. If not, we can always make do with double sided tape.
As for take-away souveneirs.. the name tag + sthg else? Hrmph.. maybe sthg more useful eg bookmark, pencil (can write or stick sthg at e top), paper CD holder (juz decorate it or sthg), or maybe sthg we can put on our lanyard. Juz preliminary ideas.. anyone has suggestions??
Anyway, I think the planning of the event shld involve more ppl.. I mean its always poor hippo tt does so many things. We shld get other ppl involved who are quite laid back in class. (juz a personal opinion)
btw, nizar, quite like "the Otties are coming!" Haha...
was discussing with zx regarding the food rite..
we tot of giving each member a 'survivor' pack.. we may put banana.. plain bread.. cucumber.. tomato or some other food in each packet.. den maybe give a can of condensed milk for e whole team.. den again.. got vegetarian.. not sure if vegetarians can take condensed milk.. cos it comes from COWS.. bleahz..
den if lidat rite.. it will be sth like survivor cum amazing race kinda event.. yup..
eh.. i dun think tt is v feasible. coz have to take into consideration some ppl dun take e above mentioned veg/fruit/food, and also if we are gg to be running ard.. is tt enough carbo to last??
Haha.. but i think its a good idea. Maybe need to work on it more!
